Hello I’m Tessie!

I’m about 7 1/2 months old and I look like a yellow lab mixed with something more dainty. I am sweet, curious, and snuggly. I am very easygoing and love meeting new people and new dogs. When I meet someone new I offer a friendly tail wag and see if they’d like to scratch my ears or my belly.

Running around the yard and exploring with my current  foster family  pup  Lizzi  is one of my favorite things. I Love playing with canine friends and toys.  I am good with children and I love to follow everyone around.

I do well on the leash and am a quick learner. I am  potty trained and go to the door and now I am learning to ring the bells if no one is  paying attention. I do well in my crate when the family is at work, I have a crate next to their bed I like that; and am learning new things every day.  I like learning and training.

I play really well with the other doggies  and I love to ride in the car!  I even went on 2 boat rides and enjoyed that too! I wonder what adventures the cold weather will bring….

In the house one of my favorite thing is to find a soft blanket or cushion and curl up for snuggles. With my 1st foster family  I tolerated all kinds of kid snuggles and even let the kids play vet with me. They were gentle with me and knew how to act around doggies so I was very gentle with them!  I even learned their routines. For example, when the kids had bathtime I would wait in the book reading chair because I know that’s where they will go next and I don’t want to miss book time! I also love to play with toys and have many around the house. I am also very “treat” motivated, that word catches my attention very quickly!

I am pretty content, with an easy going demeanor! I like to share my food with my foster sister, we like tasting each others food , switching bowels frequently until both are gone. My foster Mom said I am really a sweetie, the foster grandkids want to take me home,  the 16 mo old kept giving me hugs when I would walk by him, I think he really liked me.

I am ready for my own  family to go on many new  adventures with.
