Meet Kenny! This handsome lab mix has grown up in rescue and is ready for a home of his very own!

Here’s what you need to know about Kenny:

• House trained: Yes!
• Crate trained: Yep! After he understands the routine of the home he’s in he runs right into his crate for a treat!
• Leash: Kenny loves to be outside and to walk with his humans. It’s still a new skill so he’s learning to pull less, not chase those pesky squirrels, etc! With some dedicated training he will be a top notch walking, running, hiking buddy! In the meantime a fenced yard will probably be the best thing for this sweet guy.
• Other dogs: Kenny loves other dogs! He follows their cues, loves to romp and is always down for a snuggle. Kenny will be most successful in a home with another dog to help him grow in canine confidence.
• Kids: Kenny lives with children in his foster home and he thinks they’re great! However Kenny does startle easily and sometimes their quick/loud movements are a little scary. But with dog savvy older children/teens Kenny could be a perfect match.
• What is Kenny working on? Kenny continues to learn about his big new world- and sometimes that is a little scary. Kenny is working on meeting new people and dogs and is learning that they are fun! Kenny will need a patient family who is ready to help him continue to grow his social skills.
