Meet Dale-
Even though this fella came to us from the deep south, Dale is built for living the neighborhood life in the northland. A thick coat for mid-winter hikes and big paws with webbed feet that will serve him well at your weekend getaways at the lake. He’s a world class snuggler and has yet to pick a favorite human in his current foster home. Dale has time and love for everyone.

It seems evident that Dale was once loved and raised in a home with rules. Although he’s tested us with a couple minor infractions (counter surfing, snoozing on our guest bed), he’s easily corrected. The crate is currently not his favorite place but he’s ok with spending a couple hours during the afternoon for some quiet time. He’s earned our trust to sleep on a dog bed in our bedroom over night but you should expect a early morning wake-up call for his a.m. bathroom break.

At approximately 4 years old, Dale would be a great addition to a home looking for a medium energy dog. Our resident pooch can be quite spirited during indoor play but Dale has somehow been able to limit their sessions to an acceptable level. Overall he’s fairly independent and could also thrive as your one and only.
