I am about 8 months old, and  I look like a Labrador/Hound Mix. I definitely have that classic ‘houndy’ howl and sad puppy dog eyes. I also have a sniffer that I put into over time. And I love to play and romp and play like a lab.  I bet I will also like water but have not tried it yet!

I LOVE playing with other dogs- if fact another playful dog that I can learn from would be best for me.  I love my people and will happily follow them everywhere for the rest of my life. I’m a loyal gal, and it may take a little time for me to warm up to you, but as soon as I do, I will be your bestest girl!  I also love to give kisses and to snuggle up in your lap!!

I love meal time, treats, my crate, and my canine foster siblings. There are a few cats living with me too, I think they are both neat and scary. I maintain a safe distance with them.

I am doing well with potty training, and I have picked up on verbal cues very quickly. My foster mommy makes a weird noise when I’m doing something naughty and I respond right away. I am a smart girl and look forward to more training.  I LOVE taking walks and exploring the world.  I keep seeing humans running by me- I think when I am a year old I would be a good running buddy!  I bet I would like hiking, snow shoeing and/or anything active you do.  I am Not hyper by any means but I do love to move if you are moving!!

My ideal family will be patient with me while I continue to gain confidence in the world and meet new people.  I continue to do a good job on this.  I am a loyal, loving baby girl who will be your best girl.  Love, fun and treats- that is me, Helen.
